When you purchase your course on our website, we create an account for you in our Learning Management System – “AdvanceOnline Training Center”. After you complete your purchase you will receive two emails. The first email is a copy of your receipt. The second email will include your new UserID and Password. The emails are sent from customerservice@advanceonline.com and can take up to 15 minutes to arrive in your inbox.

To start your training:
1. Click on the “Training Login” button at the top of our website.
2. Log in to your account
3. Click on My Assignments. You will see your course in the column under “Task Title”

If you forgot your password, the quickest and easiest way to get back to work is to call our Customer Care Team at 713-952-1100.

If you set up your security question for your account, you can click on the "forgot my password" link on the "Training Login" page.

We will need to assist you in changing your name in your account. Please complete and submit this form: Name Update Form

All you need to take one of our courses is a desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device with a high-speed internet connection such as WiFi or a wired connection.

Our training courses run in your internet browser.  We recommend connecting to a broadband internet connection (WiFi) for optimal learning.  To ensure a high-quality learning experience on your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device, we recommend using one of these browsers to complete your course: Google Chrome (version 96 or newer), Microsoft Edge (version 96 or newer), Mozilla Firefox (version 95 or newer)

Although our courses aren't compatible with other browsers, you can access the course by downloading any of the supported browsers listed above or their corresponding apps.

Our training courses are designed to be interactive for the best learning experience. Our courses include multimedia, narration, interactive lab exercises, links to regulations, and objective-based exams. All of these features require specific settings in your browsers:
Pop-Ups and Redirects must be ALLOWED.
Cookies must be ALLOWED.

This course is considered a “smart course” and will automatically save your status. A bookmark appears in the middle of the screen of the last lesson visited. 

Once you successfully pass the course, we automatically generate a certificate of completion in our Learning Management System. A pop-up will appear in the course that allows you to print or download your certificate.

If you did not save your certificate after you completed your course, log into your account and visit “My Account” then go to “My Transcripts”, click on the certificate icon under the "Status" column and then follow the instructions in the pop-up window for printing options.

Per OSHA guidelines, a learner must score 70% or better on all exams. OSHA allows 3 attempts for each lesson exam, as well as the final exam. 

Per OSHA Guidelines each learner will have 180 days to complete your course once the course is launched. Keep in mind there are two dates in the system a due date and expire date. If your course was purchased by an administrator, they have the option to assign a due date, which can be earlier than the expiration date. 

OSHA regulations only allow for 7.5 hours of training in a 24-hour period. If you have reached the time limit the course will "time out" and you’ll have to wait until the next day to continue your OSHA training. An OSHA 10-Hour course will take a minimum of 2 days to complete. An OSHA 30-Hour course will take a minimum of 4 days to complete. There is not a minimum time per day that you must be active in the course.

The OSHA 10-Hour Construction and OSHA 10-Hour General Industry courses have ten (10) final exam questions.  The OSHA 30-Hour Construction has twenty-five (25) final exam questions.

All final exams include True/False and multiple-choice questions.

Per OSHA Guidelines, you have three (3) opportunities to pass any exam (lesson or final) with a 70% or better. If you fail the course, please reach out to our Customer Care team to discuss any options that may be available to you. 

You will receive your plastic official OSHA DOL card as soon as two (2) weeks after you complete your OSHA Outreach course and survey. The card is mailed via USPS First Class to the mailing address in your account profile.

Once you successfully complete the course a pop-up will appear and you can print or download the certificate of completion to your computer, smartphone, or tablet. While you're waiting for your DOL card to arrive, you can use the certificate of completion as proof you have successfully completed the course.
